Choose the level-of-service that suits you. This can be as
simple as a self-install CD through to a full consultancy
brief.
By their nature, CHL server-based products are not suited to
end-user installation. We provide direct technical support to
technical staff and product support to end-users.
Self-service
If you have technical capability you can self-install our
products. You need administration rights to your intranet web
server and database. Our installation guides cover preparation,
installation, configuration and testing stages.
Although we strongly recommend that you attend end-user training,
we also provide comprehensive user-guides.
Basic Service
The basic service covers product installation and end-user
training.
If installation and end-user training are combined into a single
event the installation fee is waived.
Our basic service includes:
- Telephone and e-mail discussions about your implementation plans
- Telephone and e-mail liaison with technical staff to assist site preparation
- On-site product installation and testing
- End-user product training
- On-going telephone, e-mail, on-line forum and on-site support (while your software maintenance remains current)
- On-going product upgrades (while your software maintenance remains current)
Standard Service
The most popular choice. It delivers everything you need for a
successful implementation. There are no hidden
‘surprises’.
We work with you to deliver project management, minor software
modifications, initial data load, installation and end-user
training. Your pre-loaded system is ‘ready-to-go’ on
day 1.
The standard service is a set of inter-related tasks:
- A meeting to obtain your data and discuss specific requirements. Liaison with technical staff
- We import data into the products and clarify any inconsistencies
- A detailed walkthrough and review of imported system data and functionality with your implementation team
- Test installation on your server. We check it works properly across your intranet/Internet
- Training delivery at (or close to) your site. We can supply training kit and all course materials
- Go live. Actual product installation. We provide ‘hand-holding’ during this critical phase
- 4-6 weeks after ‘go live’ date, we hold a post implementation review to sign-off completion
- On-going telephone, e-mail, on-line forum and on-site support (while your software maintenance remains current)
- On-going product upgrades (while your software maintenance remains current)
Programming Services
You might require changes or new features. That’s fine: we write programs. We categorise programming requests as:
- Minor changes. Alterations within the scope of the product functionality. Done as part of the standard service without charge. Examples include data items on forms, or a particular report
- Feature changes. Significant
new or altered features beyond the scope of the current product.
We’ll work with you to ‘get it right’ and for
the product benefit absorb much of the development
cost
- Proprietary enhancements. Modifications specific to your organisation. These are quoted at our programming day-rate
Consultancy & Project Management
Large organisations or partnerships can use our consultancy and
project management services.
These services are suited to:
- managed service environments
- installations with significant integration
requirements
- clients requiring major customisation or
development
- hosting user-groups to guide product utilisation and development
We liaise closely with your staff and suppliers to ensure the
overall implementation proceeds smoothly.
Consultancy and project management services are provided at our
consultancy day-rate. They can be combined with programming
services.
Integration Services
TS2000 Activity Analysis and FM2000 Fund Manager perform best
when they share data and functionality with your other
applications.
Integration services are a collection of consultancy activity,
software tools, an application programming interface (API) and web
services that make CHL products work seamlessly with your other
applications, typically Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, Finance, HR
and Payroll.
